Musings on Spiritual Matters

by Matthew Morine

Read “Future Greats and Heartbreaks”

51n7n2laujl_aa240_.jpgThis was one of the books that I wanted for Christmas. It is not a major title in the hockey genre because amazon.com did not carry it. So I had to press my mother to buy it for me as a Christmas gift. The book is for the serious hockey fan. Most casual fans of the game will become bored in the details of far away games in unknown places. But this is purposely done to illustration the world of the unknown scout seeking talent across the world. The author does a good job in presenting the life of the scout. The uncertainly of the last pick, the last general manager, and the last season. You are only as good as the last first round pick for the team. For someone desiring to go deeper into the NHL this is a highly informative book. For someone that only knows the star players in the league, this book will lose you. This is the way it should be with this title.
