Musings on Spiritual Matters

Well, the big birthday party for Gabrielle is officially over.  We had a ton of work to do.  Presents, decorating, food preparation, and one three foot sub to pick up.  Charity did a excellent job on the party.  It was well organized and run.  This was a must with some 20 some kids coming, with parents as well.  Probably some 30 people were in the house on Friday.  Mostly everyone was from the congregation.  There are a ton of young kids in the congregation.  It seems that we are adding new young families every week.  Gabrielle had a great time.  She was kind to the guests as well which is super important to Charity and myself.  Being a good host is serious business for the Morine family.  We have people over a lot and always want people to feel comfortable and welcomed in the home.  It is exciting to be part of such a loving congregation here in Castle Rock.  The congregation is a very special place.  There is a ton of love in the family here.  Everyone is amazing.  God is doing a special work here in Castle Rock in the congregation and it is fun being part of the ride.  We are growing so fast that it is hard to believe the development and progress in the church.  People are coming all the time to be a quest and mostly these people continue to stay with us.  We also have a lot of people from the community come too.  Really it is hard to imagine what God will do with this congregation in the coming years.  It is just exciting to watch this happen.  Anyway, it is great having a wonderful birthday party with a wonderful congregation full of friends.  Thank you to everyone who came.
