Musings on Spiritual Matters

China, Here we Come

Well, I am driving to Oklahoma City tomorrow to drop the kids off, and then jump on a plane at 6am in Denver.  It should be an interesting next few days.  The worst part is that I have a terrible cold, I feel awful.  This is going to be a hard trip, double it with being sick.  But nevertheless, we are starting the journey to get Asher.  Probably, I will not be writing much, might upload a picture or two, but mostly we are going to be too busy with everything to keep the blog current.  To all of my blogging friends, please keep us in your prayers.  This is an exciting adventure, but also one that I am nervous about.  If I did not have faith, I would never be doing this.  But God will be with us, and guide us through these next few months.  We are going to get to see some cool stuff, and it will be amazing meeting Asher for the first time.  It really do not know how to feel, or what it is going to be like.  It is different for everyone, and it is wise not to have expectations, as it is what it is.  We just pray that Asher will feel loved, and learn to love the Lord.  This please, the one or two people that read this blog, pray for us everyday.  Yes, I want daily prayers.  And thank you.
