Closing On A House
Today will mark the day that I am the poorest that I have ever been. Charity and I are closing on our house at 3365 Holly Hock. The house is in the Meadows subdivision in Castle Rock. It has been a interesting experience. We had to sign and have notarized all of the documents yesterday to close today. In Waynesboro, the UPS man comes once and we missed the cut off. So I had to drive all the way to Lawrenceburg to drop off the documents. Fortunately, I got there in time. Also, I had to do a wire transfer over the phone from my bank with the funds for the down payment. It was a stressful day. I hope there are no problems today with the closing. Jerry our real estate agent and member of the Castle Rock congregation is finishing the deal for us in Castle Rock. We are in Waynesboro. It will be our first house. We are excited about being home owners. It is a great privilege and responsibility.
Also, the Castle Rock congregation was written up in the Christian Chronicle this month because of the French Mission Workshop that was hosted by the Castle Rock congregation. The congregation could have selected any preacher across the brotherhood, but it selected me which I am honored. There is a great future for Castle Rock. The congregation has grown significantly over the last four years as the town has doubled in size. The town is also predicted to double again in the next five years. We are leaving a great and growing work to go to a great and growing congregation in one of the fastest growing areas in America.

We own the home, the deal is done.
Congrats! There is something special in a rites of passage kind of way about the first house purchase. Hoping you will be blessed there.
It was a great privilege to help out the new guy in town… We know that God had the wheel in this deal as well as all my deals… It was the most fun working with the Morin’s and the greatest of times showing homes to Charity and her sister who was out to help find the “Home” to raise and make memories for such an awesome family. We are excited about the work that this Youngman and his family will bring to Castle Rock and who every they touch.
Love You Guys and May God Bless You,
Jerry
