Doing a Youth Rally in Borger, TX

I am pumped about doing a youth rally in Borger, TX. I am excited because I will see a old school mate, Spencer, and the group Legacy. When I was asked to be one of the speakers, I was excited because i love doing speaking engagements, but super excited because I knew everyone on the program. The church is a small world. I did not even know the people who asked me, but they got my name from a friend who teaches at Harding, the youth intern goes to school with my intern, it is truly a small world. If you are around the Borger area, come Saturday. I will be speaking a couple of times and I will be preaching some on Sunday and teaching a class. I guess this event is a huge rally so it should be a blast. I never been to this part of Texas before, so it will be fun to be in the lone state again. Also, I am looking forward to traveling through southern Colorado to get there. Never been that far south yet in the state. I am talking about the Old man and the New man in the Christian life. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. It is a youth rally.

Matthew is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. He has a beautiful wife named Charity and a precious baby named Gabrielle. He has graduated from the Brown Trail School of Preaching, Heritage Christian University with his Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies, Lipscomb University with his Master’s of Arts in Biblical Studies and his Master’s of Divinity at Freed-Hardeman University. He is presently working towards his Doctorate of Ministry at Harding Graduate School of Religion. I’m excited about you doing TCC this year. I’ve spoken at this youth rally about 8 times. They have great kids and great crowds. Expect a great weekend. I hope to make it this year, but I’m not sure yet.
