Five ways blogging has affected my life

http://haacked.com/images/haacked_com/WindowsLiveWriter/CategoriesvsTags_833F/561962_price_tag%5B3%5D.jpgWell I was tagged again–thank you Bill. It has taken me a long time to finish this assignment, but nevertheless here it is. Five ways that blogging has affected my life.

1. When I travel to lectureships and church gatherings and introduce myself, people state, “I know you, I read your blog.” I never get the first impression sense any longer because people know me already.

2. I have made some friends through the blog. Though these are blog friends, I look forward to meeting these people some day. Also, because of blogs, I have made some real life friends. We have eaten together and worked together because of the blog world.

3. Blogging has never seemed difficult to me. I enjoy writing a thought each day and being involved in a discussion. I have used it to throw ideas out there to help me think through issues. I am a more aware preacher because of the blog.

4. Blogging is kind of like a manly diary for me. It is a way of monitoring my past. Someday I will look at what I wrote and wonder what I was thinking.

5. Overall, I love blogging. I love the interaction and the development. I feel that I am a better preacher because of my habit of blogging. People can feel closer to me because they see more of who I am. Blogging has connected people together.

BTW, I’m so glad you got to attend the Nashville Predators team party. I hope you got your jersey autographed and get to frame it, and hang it in your office.
I am looking forward to your book comes off the press. I’ll certainly buy it and read it. Sounds really good. God bless it! I read a book a couple years ago published by HCU. It was called The Great Commission Part 2 by Steve Cummings and Glenn Newton. Excellent study! God bless!

  5. Matthew says:

Glenn and Steve are great preachers. I consider both of them friends. Thank you Zack.
