Hockey Season Review
The Predators’ season came to an end on Sunday afternoon. The game was over with a fluke goal in the second period from center ice. The Predators had their chance on Friday night to dominate the series. As I reflect on the past season, the Predators did extremely well with the circumstances surrounding the team. There was the sale of the team, the salary dump of players, and a horrible start to the season. The Predators fought back to make a respectable run to the playoffs. The season was enjoyable as I went to about nine games. The nephews came with me the majority of the times, as well as the congregation, a few friends from the church, my family, and my friend Larry. Hockey is one of the few activities that I engage in through the winter. Overall I enjoyed the season and I am looking forward to free agency, the draft, and pulling for Sidney Crosby in the Playoffs.
When the Playoffs started Steven, Alan, and I made a commitment to grow hockey beards for the playoff run. This is a Canadian tradition. The beard did not last long, but it was worth growing. Being from Canada, hockey connects me to my roots, the passion flows through me as hockey is in the fabric of Canadian society.

I edited your picture the other one wasn’t working. Just wanted to make sure that it was a result of the Wordpress upgrade last night.
Yea, I noticed it not working. Thank you. Hope Canada does well in the Worlds
After the Preds went down I was pulling for the Caps. I was lucky enough to get to know their coach Bruce “Gabby” Boudreau when I lived in Mississippi. He had a coaches show on our station so we met with him regularly in the locker room to produce his show. I am so glad he made it from the ECHL to the NHL.
