He might have been a truly great player, but he doesn't seem willing to sacrifice his teaching and writing time to memorize the truly nauseating amount of data it seems to take to be a GM. The latest edition of "How To Re-Assess Your Chess" is the best chess teaching guide I've found. Ever. Jeremy Silman might be the most brilliant chess TEACHER I’ve ever encountered.
