Report on Castle Rock
Everyday I wake up excited about a new day that I can serve the Lord. Castle Rock is an amazing place to minister. The town is one of the best in America according to Money Magazines list of best places to raise a family. Everyday I over look mountain and train at the world class recreation center a minute from the office. I dream of being in the mountains with God and friends in the summer. As beautiful as the town is, the congregation is even better. I work with an amazing man named Steve Curo. The more time I spend with him the more I like him. He is a wonderful supporter of my work and the mission of God. He has a huge evangelistic heart which makes me admire him so. The eldership is wonderful with a great skill set of spiritual oversight of the congregation. You always feel cared for and supported through their loving guidance. The deacons in the congregation are really working hard these days. We had a wonderful weekend in which there was planning and conversation on how to improve and make the congregation more effective. These guys are motivated to reach out into the community. I have been introducing some missional ideas to the congregation and there is a ton of support on these endeavors. The people are passionate to reach souls for Christ. Over the last few weeks, we have really been blessed. We had a huge contribution of 12,000 dollars one week. People are sacrificing to the Lord even in these difficult times. Our attendance is doing great with a 226 attendance and a 254 attendance. We had a wonderful Children’s Day that was a huge success with a ton of new people coming to be with us. We have some great people working with the teens and we had a huge clean up day too to provide the best impression to the community. For all the Castle Rock people, thank you for being amazing. There will be problems because Satan hates this congregation. Satan hates this church with a passion. But we continue to press forward because our God is bigger, a lot bigger than Satan.
