Review of “Reflections On My Call to Preach”

Reflections on My Call to Preach: Connecting the DotsI love the wisdom of Craddock on preaching.  In fact, I had the honor of hearing him a few years ago.  It was at a lectureship at Lipscomb.  He is a amazing communicator.  He can tell stories that makes time stand still.  He is one of the best preacher’s ever.  This is a book about his early life.  In the book he is dealing with the nature of his call to ministry.  The book is short and full of great stories.  It is a coffee worthy book.  As he looks at his story, you will wonder about your own.  There are few ministers that I would drive a long distance to hear, he is one of them.  Just buy the book and enjoy.

Thanks for the recommendation Matthew. I’ve greatly benefitted from Craddock’s book called “Preaching.” I’ll pick this one up too.
