Review of “Sidney Crosby”

Sidney Crosby: The Story of a ChampionThis is not one of those long books.  It is written more for children.  There are two other biographies of Sidney Crosby on the market, and this is not one that is extensive, it is only about 84 pages, which are full of pictures.  My mother got me this book for Christmas, and I finished it on Christmas day.  It is a fun read about some of the highlights of Crosby’s career.  It has been short so far, but he has accomplished a lot in this amount of time.  He has won some of the major awards in the NHL, won a Stanley Cup, and most importantly, he scored the game willing goal at the 2010 games.  He has a gold medal around his neck.  Sidney Crosby is my favorite player because he is awesome and second of all, he grew up in Nova Scotia like me.  He seems to be a wonderful ambassador for the game, and a genuinely good guy.  There are also great stories about him when I travel home to Nova Scotia.  For a young fan, or someone just looking for the highlights of his career, this is a great book.  There are also some good pictures from his earlier days in the text.  The author seems to have a good understand of Crosby because of his location in the world.  He is also from N.S. This is definitely a good book about Crosby.
