Much of the missional material is at a theological level. The theology has been produced but there is little practical material in helping a congregation make the transition to being a missional church. This title provides a framework for the missional leader. The material is excellent in giving a model that would be beneficial for a congregation. The book focuses on the nature of leadership, the character of leadership, and the struggles of leadership. The aspect that is the best is the information on helping a congregation make the shift. The book provides some new perspectives on the role of transition in a congregation. The book gives some new paradigms on the nature of transition and the nature of leadership. The book is simple and clear. As the missional conversation continues, this book will be the start to more congregational development material.
