Musings on Spiritual Matters

Sporting Updates

At the beginning of this blog, there were a lot of sporting updates.  This is one of the hobbies that I enjoy.  Even though I moved to Colorado, I am still a huge Tennessee Volunteer’s Football fan.  I was happy with the recruiting class as Lane secured the number one recruit in the nation.  This was a huge pick up and proof of his ability to recruit top talent.  I am looking forward to another college football season.  A season of beating Bama.  I lived in Texas and never became a Texas fan, I lived in Alabama and never became a Tide fan, because the best team is the Vols.  Off of Football and on to the love of Hockey.  I am a Colorado Avalanche fan, but the team was the third worst team in the league.  They had no chance of making the playoffs, but the ray of hope is to win the lottery today and get Tavares.  This would be great to have a future Canadian superstar on the team.  Speaking of the hockey, I finished another season of fantasy hockey.  This year I won two first places and one second place.  I great fantasy league finish.  The sporting world has been good to me for another year.

Well looks like there will be no first round draft pick for Colorado. Three is not too bad though.
