The Castle Rock staff is heading into the mountains for a retreat. We are going into the wilderness in Southern Colorado. We are camping out tonight while we are going to do a devotional time. After this, we are waking up early to hike up 8 miles to Humboldt Peak. This peak is 14,064ft. The trail is a class two which means that it is not a paved highway, figuratively speaking. The last part is some major rock formations. I have asked the interns to provide a talk on a praise idea and to two a motivational quote with all of us. I look forward to this time together. Who wants to go to some hotel or building and sit around talking and eating. This is what we always do in church settings. I believe that this will build bond and inspire confidence more than mere chat. 14er number 4, here I come.
