Musings on Spiritual Matters

Stanley Cup Finals Starts Tonight

This is always an exciting time for hockey fans.  I am excited because Sidney Crosby is back in it to win a cup.  He is a Nova Scotia boy like myself.  He is my favorite player in the league.  It would be a dream come true if he played for Colorado.  Even though, my team did not even make it to the finals, my favorite player did so this provided a ton of excitement throughout the playoffs.  This is a repeat from last years finals where Crosby had to play the Wings.  The Wings are back, but Crosby is playing like a true superstar.  He will understand the pressure better this time.  This also happened to Gretzky.  He played the Islanders one year and lost but the next year they won the cup.  Gretzky learned what it would take to hold the cup above his head.  I am hoping to watch Crosby do this.  Crosby being a Canadian kid will turn it on and become money and go down into history as more than a superstar but a legend with this performance.

When he wins the gold in 2010 too, this is really going to go down in history.
