Musings on Spiritual Matters

The Family Has Arrived Safely

The parents, brother, and his girlfriend Debbie have arrived safely from Nova Scotia, Canada today.  In fact, they arrived at the airport early.  Mother commented that “it was one of the easiestflights ever.  The family is staying with us for about two weeks.  Of course this is not a free room and board trip.  Father is commissioned to put in a third bathroom in the basement and brother is commissioned to build a website for the church.  Mother is going to shop because we have a outlet mall that has 153 stores in it.  It has been since March of last year since we have seen the parents and it has been about a year since we saw the brother and girlfriend.  Hopefully this will be an exciting trip with all the new stuff with the move.  We have few things planned like some hockey games and probably a trip to Pike’s Peak mountain.  This should be exciting for the family.  Seeing the Rocky Mountains for the first time is a amazing site.

  1. Glad to hear that the family is there. Tell mom, dad, and Brent hello. Don’t make your dad work too hard but he probably won’t mind because if he is not working he’ll be forced to go shopping! Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.

  2. Matthew says:

Thank you. Everyone is having a good time so far. We all went to the gym this morning.

  3. I hope and pray your parents and brother, and his girlfriend have a safe and fruitful visit with you and your family this week and next week. Yes, the Rockies are a magnificent sight to behold especially for the first time. Be careful of altitude sickness when y’all go to Pikes Peak. That is one of my favorite things to see out there. Have y’all been to the Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs? It’s really awesome. Y’all should go see that. I hope the hockey games are fun too. The Dallas Stars are doing terrible right now, so I hope the Avalanche is doing better then we are right now. BTW, how was Thanksgiving? I hope it was enjoyable for everyone.
Take care. God bless. Grace and Peace.
