Video Sermons

chruchimage3For some time, one of the super star members of Castle Rock has added video sermons to the website.  We experimented with various formats such as youtube but the time was too short, we did talkshoe, and I believe we still are because people can download these to an ipod.  But I am really happy to have video sermons on the web now.  So instead of just listening to the sermons you can see them.  I believe this is important step for the Castle Rock congregation as the front door of most churches now is the webpage.  It is amazing how many people attend Castle Rock after looking at the webpage.  People will say, “I heard you pray on the site” and then I say “and you still came?”  But really, the webpage is important and people like to know the flavor of the sermon or preacher before coming.  I am really happy with service to the community and the congregation.  It has a huge influence throughout the church as people from various parts of the USA have talked to me about listening to sermons.  In fact, while I was at Harding Graduate School, a student approached me to tell me that his father-in-law listens to me every week.  I was honored by this.  So if you would would, check out the webpage of www.castlerockchurch.info for the sermons.
