Visit to National Jewish
Tomorrow is a big day for the Morine Family. We are going to National Jewish Hospital for Gabrielle’s eczema. As some of you know, she has struggled with this for a few years now. When we first moved to Castle Rock, it got really bad. We feel that some of this was from the stress from the move. She also had to adjust to the climate. She made some slow progress for the last six months, but we went on a trip to Tennessee and it really got bad again. We arrived home and really had no choice but to use steroid creams. She improved on these, but these are temporary. Also, there are side-effects. We stopped using them the last few days, and the eczema has returned to mostly her face and neck. This was because of National Jewish needing to do tests. This is a huge struggle for us. We have tried almost everything, and feel hopeless. Fortunately, National Jewish is the leading hospital in the nation, perhaps the world for this problem. We are talking with one of the national experts on eczema in the nation tomorrow. We do not know what to expect, but are hoping for the best. It is hard watching her hurt with this problem. Please pray for us on Monday.
