Saturday is one of the best days of the week. It is my off day, unless I have to work, which seems to be too often. But mostly I have the day to myself. Earlier in the marriage, I would play golf on Saturday, but these days it is given to family activities. It is a relaxing day. I am not one of the ministers who prepares his lessons on Saturday night, I like having that done at the first part of the week. but Saturday is for playing with the kids and connecting with Charity. Also, now that College Football is back, it is also a time of watching the big games on T.V. I do not watch much T.V. but college football is great, especially the Tennessee-Florida game. Also, later on in the year, there is sometimes a hockey game on Fox’s Sports Net. I love Saturday, especially the ones in which I do not work.

There are some Saturday’s where I do need to finish a little last minute work. Today was not one of them, so the family and I went to Walnut Grove, MN and visited the Laura Ingles Wilder Museum. Nice place but it is even nicer to spend the day with the family. God bless you tomorrow as you minister to the body you serve.
Grace and peace,
Rex
