  1. Matthew,

I like your blog. Your thinking seems practical and cogent, probably because I agree with most all of it. The length of your posts is excellent.

My only criticism after reading several of your posts is that you do not proof-read adequately. You make many grammatical errors and typos that detract from what you are saying because they cut into your credibility.

    Here are a few examples.

    Adding New Elders
From my experience, it seems that new two churches do it in the same manner.
I felt that our recently process went well,
I do not believe that preacher’s pick the elders,

    One Day of Work
There is the running joke about minister’s working only two days a week.
Some Sunday’s are harder than others.
I helped a family move into the area, and than did a wedding,

I find around three errors in virtually all of your short posts. I think you need to find someone to proof-read for you, perhaps an English teacher in your congregation.

At any rate, that is my two cents worth. You can see what I consider the “Seven Deadly Grammar Errors of Preachers” at http://www.tritebuttrue.com/blog/archives/2007/06/grammar_tips_fo.html

Keep up the good work and make it even better!
